Dr. Valsamis Ntouskos  is an internationally recognized scholar that has gained mastery in many different disciplines and an active Professor and Researcher at “La Sapienza” University of Rome.
He started his academic career with a Diploma in Rural & Surveying Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), followed by a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. He acquired his M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence & Robotics and Ph.D in Engineering in Computer Science from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome.
Currently he is a Professor at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering in Rome focusing on Robotics, Computer Vision and  Deep Learning .
Having received many distinctions and awards for his academic achievements he shares his expertise through a number of scientific publications and journals, not to mention his key role in conferences, workshops and EU projects as a Robotics and Artificial Intelligence expert.
Given his related background he was appointed as the Scientific Research Director of WUAVF Hellenic Chapter with the task to lead research on UAVs’ Artificial Intelligence and bring to light interesting academic projects relevant to UAV technology and autonomous flying.
