Abraham Chatzopoulos
Mr. Abraham Chatzopoulos is a reputable design & prototype devices construction expert, with a great interest in research and new technologies. He specializes in Automation, Motion control and Robotics.
He started his academic career with a Bachelor in Automation from Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus subsequently he acquired M.Sc in Telematics Management from Donau Universitat, Krems Austria and finally his M.Sc in CT for Education from University of Athens.
Currently he works as Lecturer at University of West Attica (Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering) teaching Mechatronics Robotics, Motion Control, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Automation Systems and Design of Autonomous cars. He has more than 15,000 hours in his personal portfolio as instructor and laboratory supervisor.
Among his other professional achievements, like international conferences and scientific journals, he had the honor to teach Computer Science & Electronics at the Hellenic Aerospace Industry and coordinate construction projects of experimental drone prototypes.
Focusing on his core skills and additional experience in PC and micro-controllers programming, he was appointed as WUAVF Hellenic Chapter Automation & Robotics Advisor, with the task to promote and facilitate laboratory research on UAV technology with the support of domestic and European educational institutions.
